3. Exemption of 'Road occupancy fee' for small businesses

Jeju Island is reducing road occupancy fees for private businesses that are struggling with the fallout from COVID-19.

All private businesses, including small business owners and the self-employed, will be eligible for the support. The regular road occupancy fee will be reduced by 25 percent for three months.

Those who have already paid the road occupancy fee are able get the money refunded to their account.

Around 4,800 businesses are subject to road occupancy fee reduction in the province amounting to a total of 2.45 billion won and 610 million won is expected to be refunded with this exemption.

제주도가 코로나19 여파로
어려움을 겪고 있는 민간 사업자에게 도로점용료를 감면해줍니다.

지원 대상은
소상공인과 자영업자 등 모든 민간사업자이며
올해 정기분 도로점용료 3개월분에서 25%가 감면됩니다.

도로점용료를 이미 납부한 경우에는
환급 계좌로 돌려받을 수 있습니다.

도내 도로점용료 부과 대상은
4천 800여 건에 24억 5천여 만 원으로,
이번 감면 혜택으로
6억 1천여 만 원이 환급될 예정입니다.
