3. Local elementary schools’ emergency care usage 'highest nationwide'
Special-education schools' care 5 times higher than national average

In the wake of COVID-19, as offline school classes were postponed, the rate of emergency care usage for elementary students in Jeju province was the highest in the country.

According to the Ministry of Education, the participation rate of emergency care for elementary schools students in Jeju was almost 11%.

The usage ratio of kindergarten emergency care education was 51%, the third highest after Gwangju City and Jeollanam-do Province.

In particular, the emergency care usage ratio of special-education schools was 39.4%, more than five times the national average of 7.6%.

유치원 돌봄 교육 비율도 51%로
광주와 전남에 이어 3번째로 높았습니다.

특히 특수학교 돌봄비율은
39.4%로 전국평균 7.6%를 5배 이상 웃돌았습니다.
