5. Eastar Jet marks 60 days of being non-operational
Airline’s Air Operator's Certificate suspended

Eastar Jet's Air Operator's Certificate has been suspended as a result of COVID 19.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has announced that Eastar Jet's AOC has been suspended as of May 23rd, on the 60th day of being non-operational.

The certificates are granted after comprehensively inspecting whether the airline has a safe operation system such as organization, manpower, facilities, and equipment.

Eastar Jet has been suffering from financial difficulties and had suspended all domestic flights after discontinuing international flights on March 24th due to low demand after COVID 19.

이스타항공은 코로나19가 확산하자
지난 3월 24일 국제선에 이어
국내선 운항마저
모두 중단하면서 경영난을 겪어왔습니다.
