Medical staff can collect samples with more speed, efficiency

Six walk-through screening stations will be installed at local health centers on the island in an effort to increase response time to COVID-19.

The provincial government will install the screening stations at six different local health centers across the island by June 5th. The stations will have the ability to conduct sample collections rapidly.

The installation of the stations will help medical staff respond to coronavirus more efficiently, as it eliminates the need to wear heavy equipment and samples can be collected within five minutes.

워크스루 선별진료소가 설치됩니다.

제주도는 오는 5일까지
현재 제주공항에 가동되고 있는
다목적 양방향 검체 채취부스,
이른바 초스피드 워크스루를
도내 6개 보건소에도 각각 1대씩 설치하기로 했습니다.

설치가 완료되면
의료진이 무거운 보호장비를 착용하지 않고도
바이러스가 차단된 부스 안에서
5분 이내로 검체를 채취할 수 있어
코로나 대응 속도가 빨라질 것으로 기대되고 있습니다.
