Jeju - Incheon ferry expected to resume operations in September 2021
Routes will be operational 3 days a week

Passenger ferry services for Jeju and Incheon routes, which have been cut off since the 2014 Ferry Sewol disaster, are expected to resume in September next year.

According to the Incheon Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Office, a new Jeju-Incheon ferry operator that was selected for legal operation in November last year is preparing for business.

The company signed a contract on the construction of a 27,000-ton ferry late last year and will promptly begin operations when the ship is delivered in September 2021.

The ferry will leave Incheon Port every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings and arrive in Jeju the next morning.

인천지방해양수산청에 따르면,
지난해 11월
제주-인천 여객선 신규 사업자로 선정된 업체가
선박 건조를 비롯한 운항 준비를 진행하고 있습니다.

이 업체는 지난해 말
2만 7천톤급 카페리선에 대한 건조 계약을 맺었으며
내년 9월 선박이 인도되면 운항에 들어갈 예정입니다.

제주-인천 여객선은
매주 화, 목, 토요일 저녁 인천항을 출발해
다음날 아침 제주에 도착하는 일정으로 운항될 예정입니다.
