1. 67 residents of Jeju come into contact with infected tourists
All have tested negative for COVID-19

Six tourists from a pastor group from Gunpo City in Gyeonggi-do Province were confirmed to be positive for coronavirus after travelling to Jeju Island from May 25th to the 27th. All islanders who came into contact with them were tested negative.

The provincial government expects that there will be no community transmission caused by the tourists from Gunpo City, as all 67 individuals who had come in contact with them were confirmed to be negative for the virus.

The office conducted an investigation to find out whether the tourists had come in contact with any more people at a hotel restaurant where they had breakfast on May 26th. The results confirmed there to be no more additional contacts.

단체 여행객과 관련해
제주도내 접촉자 모두 음성 판정을 받았습니다.

제주도는
도내에서 관리되고 있는 접촉자 67명이 음성으로 확인됨에 따라
군포시 확진자 일행으로 인한
지역사회 감염은 없을 것으로 보고 있습니다.

특히 이들 일행이 지난달 26일
제주를 빠져나가기 전에 다녀간 식당에서도
추가 접촉자가 나오지 않고 있어
고비를 넘긴 것으로 판단했습니다.

한편 경기지역 목회자 모임에서
제주 일대를 여행한 뒤
확진 판정을 받은 관광객은 지금까지 6명에 이르고 있습니다.
