4. Crackdown on speeding and illegal parking in school zones to be launched
97 speeding cameras to be installed by 2022

A crackdown on speeding and illegal parking within child protection zones will be held on the island.

The provincial government, along with the education office and the National Police Agency will launch a joint campaign to reduce traffic accidents in child protection zones.

Targeting school drop-off and pick up times, parking enforcement officers will crack down on illegal parking and provide traffic safety education during school hours.

15 unmanned speeding cameras will be installed on the island this year, and a total of 97 cameras will be installed by the year 2022, and safer routes to school will be created for schools without sidewalks.


4. 스쿨존 과속·주정차 단속 강화…안전시설 보강

어린이보호구역에서
과속이나 불법주정차에 대한 단속이 강화되고
안전시설도 보강됩니다.

이를 위해
제주도와 교육청, 경찰청 등 유관기관들은 공동으로
어린이보호구역에서
교통사고 줄이기 캠페인을 전개합니다.

특히 학교 등.하교 시간에
불법 주정차 단속 요원을 배치해 단속하고
교통안전교육도 진행합니다.

무인 과속단속 카메라 설치도
올해 15대를 시작으로 2022년까지 97대까지 확대하고
인도가 없는 학교 주변에는
통학로를 확보해 나갈 계획입니다.
