4. Folklore and Natural History Museum of Jeju to reopen on June 18
Masks mandatory, large groups restricted

The Folklore and Natural History Museum of Jeju will reopen on Thursday after being temporarily closed due to COVID-19.

The hours of operation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., shortening the normal business hours by one hour. Groups of more than 10 people will also be restricted.

Visitors must wear masks in the museum and record their details in the visitors’ log as well as get their temperature checked at the entrance

The museum will open with a special exhibition of flatfish, the representative fishery resource of Jeju Island.

제주 민속자연사박물관이
코로나19에 따른 임시 휴관을 마무리하고
18일부터 다시 문을 엽니다.

다만 운영시간을 1시간 단축해
오후 5시까지만 운영하며
10명을 넘는 단체관람은 제한합니다.

박물관 안에서 마스크 착용은 의무화하고
발열검사와 함께 명부도 작성하게 됩니다.

한편 박물관은 재개관에 맞춰
제주대표 수산자원인 광어의 생태와 특징,
관련된 이야기를 담은 특별전을 선보입니다.
