2. Universal benefits offered for 2nd phase of stimulus aid
All residents to receive ￦100,000 per person

The provincial government has officially announced the decision to offer financial aid to all residents on the island for the 2nd phase of the emergency relief fund. Every resident will be eligible for \100,000 in stimulus aid.

The vice governor of administration, Choi Seung-hyun (최승현), attended the Jeju Provincial Council's meeting on budgets and accounts held on the 19th, and announced that he is pushing to pay 100,000 won per person for the second round of emergency relief support.

He explained that he would introduce a per-capita payment method because of the complicated administrative process.

Considering the population of Jeju Island is around 695,000, the new plan will cost the government a total of 70 billion won.

1인당 지급 방식을 도입할 예정이라고 설명했습니다.

제주도 인구는 69만 5천여 명으로
1인당 10만원씩 지급할 경우
약 700억 원 정도가 소요될 전망입니다.
