1. Jeju education stimulus aid released
75,000 students on island receive ￦300,000 each

The Provincial Office of Education has started receiving applications for the COVID-19 Jeju education stimulus aid starting on the 23rd.

An amount of 300,000 won per student will be offered to some 75,000 students on the island. The deadline for applications is July 3rd.

To receive the subsidy, a legal guardian must visit the students’ school with an ID card and a resident registration certificate. Applicants can receive the funds right after submitting application forms.

If they do not receive the subsidy by July 3rd, they can also receive it at the offices of education.

The aid is given in the form of a debit card, which expires on September 30th and can only be used within Jeju Island. The card cannot be used at large-scale markets, online shopping or for entertainment.

23일부터 도내 모든 학생들에게 지급되고 있습니다.

제주도교육청은
다음달 3일까지 도내 학생 7만 5천여 명에게
1명당 30만 원씩
교육희망지원금을 지급하고 있습니다.

학생 보호자가
신분증과 주민등록등본 등을 지참하고
직접 학교를 방문해야만 수령할 수 있습니다.

다음달 3일까지 수령하지 않을 경우
교육지원청에서 받아야 합니다.

선불카드 방식으로 지급되는 지원금은
9월 30일까지 도내에서 사용할 수 있으며
다만 대형마트나 온라인 쇼핑, 유흥업소 등에서는
사용이 제한됩니다.
