3. Only 85% of farmers have applied for farming subsidies
Deadline for application is June 30

The provincial government is receiving applications for public benefit payments until the end of June, and so far, only an estimated 85% of farmers have applied for the funds.

It has been reported that 34,000 farmers in the province are eligible for farming subsidies, but only 29,000 farmers, or 85%, have applied so far.

More than 5,000 farmers have yet to apply, and the government is encouraging them to apply by the 30th.

Payments for farming subsidies are set at 1.2 million won per year for small farms, regardless of land area. For payments that are based on land size, farmers will receive between 1 and 1.34 million won per hectare.

공익직불금은
소규모 농가에는
면적에 관계 없이 농가당 연 120만 원을,

면적 직접지불금의 경우
경지 면적에 따라
헥타아르당 100만 원에서 134만 원까지 지급됩니다.
