Release of 2.7 million sea animals at village fishing grounds
Province invests ￦2.7B in fisheries discharge project

The province is expanding its fisheries discharge project to protect coastal fishery.

Plans to invest 2.7 billion won has been made to release 2.7 million sea animals from five different species, including abalone and red sea cucumber, at 80 coastal fishing grounds in the province.

The total number of released seeds are expected to be three times larger than the first batch released in the first half of this year, and will be the main source of income for haenyeo divers and fishermen.

수산 종자 방류사업을 확대합니다.

이에따라 27억 원을 투입해
도내 마을 연안어장 80곳에
전복과 홍해삼, 오분자기 등 5개 어종 종자 270만 마리를
방류합니다.

이는 올 상반기보다 세 배 많은 규모로
어장 생태계 조성과 함께
해녀와 어선 어업인의 주 소득원이 될 것으로
기대하고 있습니다.
