4. Jeju Island to reduce the amount of Jeju Air’s recapitalization by half
New budget allocates ￦4B for paid-in capital

Jeju Island has halved its budget for participating in Jeju Air's paid-in capital increase.

In the second supplementary budget bill recently submitted to the Jeju Provincial Council, the province reduced the amount of recapitalization of Jeju Air from 8 billion won to 4 billion won.

As a result, Jeju Air's shares that are owned by the province are expected to drop from 7.75 percent to the low 6 percent range.

Meanwhile, Jeju Island has effectively taken an adverse stance on the Jeju Air's acquisition of Eastar Jet, citing financial risks.

4. 제주도, 제주항공 유상증자 규모 절반 축소

제주도가
제주항공의 유상증자에 참여하기로 결정한 가운데
참여 예산 규모를 절반으로 축소했습니다.

제주도는 최근 제주도의회에 제출한
제2차 추가경정예산안에서
제주항공 유상증자 참여 예산 규모를
당초 80억 원에서 40억 원으로 줄였습니다.

이에따라
제주도의 제주항공 지분율은 현재 7.75%에서
6% 초반대로 낮아질 것으로 전망됐습니다.

한편 제주도는
현재 논란이 되고 있는
제주항공의 이스타항공 인수에 대해
재무 구조 위험 등을 이유로
사실상 부정적인 입장을 보였습니다.
