5. Seongsan-Nokdong Port ferry launching on July 16th
Round trip to be operated once a day

The passenger and car ferry connecting Seongsan Port and Nokdong Port in Jeollanam-do Province, will begin service on the 16th.

H Shipping announced that they will operate a round trip route between Seongsan and Nokdong once a day starting from the Nokdong Port on the afternoon of the 16th.

The 15,000-ton "Sunrise Jeju" will be traveling the route with a capacity of 630 passengers and 170 vehicles.

The July 16th launch is the first trip in five years since the Seongsan-Jangheung route was cut off during the 2015 MERS outbreak.

5. 성산-고흥 녹동항 카페리 여객선 16일 취항

성산항과 전남 고흥군 녹동항을 연결하는
카페리 여객선이 16일 취항합니다.

에이치해운은 16일 오후 녹동항 출항을 시작으로
하루 한차례 성산과 녹동 항로를 왕복운항할 예정이라고
밝혔습니다.

이 항로에는 1만 5천톤급 '선라이즈 제주'호가 투입되며
승객 630여명과 차량 170여대를 실을 수 있습니다.

성산항에서 육지를 잇는 뱃길이 열리는 것은
지난 2015년 메르스 사태때 성산-장흥 항로가 끊긴 이후 5년 만입니다.
