Tourist from Seoul tests positive after 5-day trip

A woman in her seventies was confirmed to be positive after testing in Seoul. The news came soon after she had made a trip to Jeju Island. Four residents of the island who came into contact with her were also tested positive.

According to the provincial government, the woman visited Jeju for 5 nights and 6 days starting from the 9th and tested positive for the coronavirus on the 16th at the Gwangjin-gu Public Health Center in Seoul.

While in Jeju, she visited a sauna, a teahouse and a restaurant in Hallim-eup. So far, four people she came into contact with tested positive for COVID-19. The province said that about 100 people came into contact with those patients.

The local government is in the process of tracking down other people who shared the same route as the patient and are encouraging them to be tested for the virus.

제주를 다녀간 70대 여성이
지난 16일 서울 광진구보건소로부터
코로나 확진 판정을 받았습니다.

이 여성은 제주에 머무는 동안
한림읍 지역 사우나와 찻집, 식당 등을 방문했는데
접촉자로 분류된 20여 명 가운데 4명이
추가 확진 판정을 받아 2차 감염이 발생했습니다.

제주도는 항공편 추가 접촉자를 확인하는 한편
동선이 겹치는 도민은 즉시 코로나 진단검사를 받을 것을 부탁했습니다.
