3. Electronic entry logs at high-risk facilities not being effectively utilized
26th patient found to not have registered entry at bar

Although the QR code-based electronic entry and exit register system has become mandatory for COVID 19 high-risk facilities, the province is in need of urgently administering countermeasures, as the system is not being properly applied in rural areas.

It has been discovered that Patient #26, who was confirmed just this week, did not register on the electronic log with a personal QR code when visiting a local bar.

The urgency of the issue came to light when investigators were not able to trace Patients #21 and #24 starting from July 16th. They were only able to discover the 26th patient by inspecting credit card statements.

The Jeju quarantine authorities are asking for active cooperation from businesses to properly record visits, as there is little chance of tracking down possible infected persons if there is no electronic trail.

이번 제주의 26번 확진자의 경우
문제가 되고 있는 유흥주점을 방문할 당시
QR코드에 의한
전자출입부 명부를 작성하지 않은 것으로 나타났습니다.

이 때문에 21번. 24번 확진자가 감염 판정을 받은
지난 16일부터
방역 사각지대에 놓여 있었고
때마침
신용카드를 사용한 사실이 확인돼
뒤늦게 검사 대상에 포함돼 확진판정까지 이르게 된 것입니다.

제주방역당국은
당시 신용카드로 결제하지 않았더라면
감염된 사실을 모른 채
자칫 깜깜이 전파 가능성도 컸었다며
방문기록 작성에 적극 협조해 줄 것을 당부하고 있습니다.
