3. Installation of Infrared Cameras at Tapdong Beach Park
New system can detect subjects 24 hours regardless of weather conditions

Infrared thermal imaging cameras will be installed to prevent falling and drowning accidents around Tapdong Beach Park in Jeju City.

Jeju Island recently announced that they secured 80 million won of special grant money from the Ministry of Public Administration and Security to establish an infrared thermal imaging camera system within the Tapdong Beach Park by the end of this year.

Once the system is built, it will be possible to detect subjects 24 hours a day, regardless of weather conditions.

The province plans to respond quickly to marine safety accidents in real time by linking the CCTV integrated control center with the maritime coast guard situation room.

3. 탑동해변공원에 적외선 열화상 카메라 설치

제주시 탑동해변공원 주변 추락사고와 익수사고 예방을 위한
적외선 열화상 카메라가 설치됩니다.

제주도는 최근 행정안전부로부터 특별교부세 8천만 원을 확보하고
올해 말까지 탑동해변공원 내에 적외선 열화상 카메라 시스템을 구축한다고 밝혔습니다.

시스템이 구축되면
해무, 안개 등 기상 여건에 관계없이 24시간 피사체 탐지가 가능합니다.

제주도는
실시간 관제가 가능한 CCTV 통합관제센터와 해경 상황실을 연계해
해양 안전사고에 신속 대응할 계획입니다.
