1. Applications for Jeju’s secondary emergency fund open on Aug 24
Funds to be distributed before Chuseok

Applications for the second round of the Jeju Emergency Support Fund, which will be paid to all provincial residents, will start on the 24th and be paid out before the Chuseok holiday.

The provincial government held a press briefing on the morning of the 11th where the Provincial Office of Planning and Coordination revealed the method and distribution schedule of the secondary funds.

According to the plan, all Jeju residents will be eligible for the payment, including foreigners registered as residents as of midnight on July 29th. The payout will be 100,000 won in cash per person, regardless of income or occupation.

The online application will be open for two weeks starting from the 24th of this month, after which offline applications will be conducted through community service centers starting from September 7th.

The province will accept applications until September 27th and will distribute the funds before the Chuseok holiday.

There are currently 699,256 eligible applicants on the island, including 671,768 Korean nationals and 27,488 registered expats.

2차 재난긴급생활지원금 지급에 따른 방식과 일정을 공개했습니다.

주요내용을 보면
대상은
7월 29일 0시를 기준으로 주민등록된 외국인을 포함한 제주도민이며
소득이나 직종에 상관없이
모든 도민에게 계좌를 통해 10만원의 현금을 지급하게 됩니다.

오는 24일부터 2주동안 온라인 5부제 신청만 가능하고
내달 7일부터
읍면동 주민센터를 통해 현장접수를 병행 실시합니다.

제주도는
2차 지원금 신청을 다음달 27일 마무리하고
추석 전에 지급되도록 행정력을 집중한다는 계획입니다.

이번에 지원대상은 69만 9천 256명이며
도민 67만 1천 768명, 등록 외국인 2만 7천 488명입니다.
