2. Province opens survey to listen to locals’ concerns over 2nd airport
New initiative carried out in hopes of creating win-win plan

The provincial government will start gathering opinions from residents in order to come up with a win-win plan for the second airport.

The government will open up avenues to listen to the opinions of local residents through the Jeju Provincial Government website, mail or by visit, focusing on resolving conflicts in connection with the development of the 2nd Airport. The initiative will be available until the 31st of this month.

The focus of the survey will be to listen to specific issues concerning the future of Jeju, such as measures to minimize damage to residents and response to environmental issues, rather than focusing on simple pros and cons.

The province plans to submit the collected responses to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and come up with a win-win plan.

환경수용력 대응 방안, 상생방안 등
구체적인 제주 미래상에 대한 의견을 접수하게 됩니다.

제주도는
제출된 의견을 종합해
국토교통부에 제출하고 상생방안을 마련한다는 계획입니다.
