3. Surge of nationwide COVID-19 infections delay opening of indoor sports facilities
Province cancels Aug 26 opening date, talks pushed back to after September

Due to the nationwide spread of COVID 19, the opening of indoor sports facilities has again been put on hold.

The provincial government had reviewed the opening of indoor sports facilities on the premise of pre-booking and small-scale use of less than 30 people on the 26th, but due to the surge of Covid-19 infections across the country, the plan will be postponed and further discussions will be held after September.

Currently, public facilities, such as outdoor sports facilities and libraries are still open and operating under the first tier of social distancing, but there are plans to consider changing the current status if the virus continues to spread.

3. 코로나 확산으로 실내체육시설 개방 '유보'

코로나 19 전국 확산세로
당초 이달 말 검토했던 실내체육시설 개방이 보류됐습니다.

제주특별자치도는
실내체육시설의 경우 오는 26일부터
사전 예약과
30명 이내 소규모 이용을 전제로 개방을 검토했지만
코로나19의 확산세속에
이같은 계획을 보류하고
9월 이후에 다시 논의한다고 밝혔습니다.

현재 실외 체육시설과 도서관 등 공공시설은
거리두기 1단계를 유지하면서 개방하고 있지만
코로나 확산세가 이어질 경우
변경하는 방안을 검토한다는 방침입니다.
