Jeju's first case of COVID-19 tertiary infection released from hospital
26th patient discharged after 30 days

The 26th confirmed patient of COVID-19 in Jeju, the first patient of a tertiary infection in Jeju, was discharged after 30 days of hospitalization.

The province said that the 26th patient showed some symptoms of pneumonia during hospitalization, but recently improved and as two consecutive tests showed negative results, the patient was finally discharged.

The patient is the first case of tertiary infection in Jeju, and was diagnosed after coming into contact with patients no. 21 and 24, who caught the virus from patient no. 20, a confirmed patient from Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

As a result, the number of confirmed patients currently undergoing isolation treatment in Jeju has been reduced to two.

이에따라 현재 제주에서 격리치료중인 확진환자는
2명으로 줄게 됐습니다.
