6. Jeju City to distribute allowances for haenyeos aged 70 or older
Over 57% of haenyeo are 70+

Jeju City has made the decision to support haenyeo female divers aged 70 or older.

The amount of support is 100,000 won per month for those over 70 years old and 200,000 won for those over 80 years old.

Currently, of some 2,200 haenyeo female divers in Jeju City, 57.3 percent are elderly haenyeo female divers aged 70 and over.



6. 제주시, 만70세 이상 '고령 해녀' 수당 지급

제주시가
만 70살 이상 고령 해녀에게 해녀수당을 지급합니다.

지원 규모는
만 70살 이상은 월 10만 원, 80살 이상은 20만 원입니다.

현재 제주시내 현직해녀는 2천 2백여 명으로
이 가운데 70살 이상의 고령 해녀는 57.3%를 차지하고 있습니다.
