2. Social Distancing at Level 2
Additional special disinfection administrative measures put in place

In order to prevent the spread of COVID 19 within the province, Jeju Island has invoked the special disinfection administrative measures following the upgrade of the social distancing guidelines to Level 2.

As a result, indoor gatherings of over 50 people and outdoor gatherings of over 100 people are prohibited, as well as all religious meetings and events outside of an official worship service.

In addition, it is mandatory to wear masks in high-risk facilities, on public transportation, airplanes, and indoor tourist facilities, and all persons must comply with preventive regulations at each business site.

Violations of the special administrative measures may result in a fine of up to 3 million won, and if a confirmed COVID 19 case occurs due to a violation, the province reserves the right to demand reimbursement for all related costs.

Those who do not wear a mask in high-risk facilities or on public transportation can also be fined up to 100,000 won.

Jeju Island has asked all relevant businesses to comply with preventive guidelines, such as maintaining a visitor’s log and regularly disinfecting facilities, and also requested religious organizations to conduct non-face-to-face worship services.

2. 사회적 거리두기 2단계…제주형 특별방역 행정조치 발동

제주도가 코로나19 도내 확산을 차단하기 위해
사회적 거리두기 2단계 격상에 따른
제주형 특별방역 행정조치를 발동했습니다.

이에 따라
실내 50인, 실외 100인 이상의 모든 공공기관의 행사나 집회,
종교시설 정규 예배 외의 각종 모임과 집합, 행사 등이 금지됩니다.

또 각 사업장별 핵심 방역수칙 준수와 함께
고위험시설과 대중교통, 비행기, 실내 관광시설 내에서의 마스크 착용이
의무화됩니다.

특별행정조치 위반시에는
관련법에 따라 300만 원 이하의 벌금에 처해질 수 있고
이로 인해 확진자가 발생할 경우 방역 비용에 대한
구상권이 청구될 수 있습니다.

고위험시설과, 대중교통 등에서 마스크를 착용하지 않을 경우에는
10만 원 이하의 과태료가 부과됩니다.

제주도는 도내 생활속 거리두기 41개 유형 사업장에
출입자 명부 관리와
시설 소독 등의 방역 수칙 준수를 당부하고
종교 시설에도 비대면 예배를 권고했습니다.
