1. 41 Jeju residents participate in Gwanghwamun rally on Aug. 15
All tested negative for COVID-19

The reported number of provincial residents who visited the Gwanghwamun rally on August 15 continues to increase.

According to the provincial government, as of the 28th, 41 residents who participated in the Gwanghwamun rally turned themselves in and underwent voluntary testing. Fortunately, all tested negative for the virus.

Jeju Island will continue to monitor the rally attendees for another two weeks in a cautious effort to prevent the spread of local infections.

An administrative order has been issued for those who visited the Gwanghwamun rally and Sarang Church to report themselves voluntarily. A violation of the regulations could result in a fine of up to 2 million won.

자진신고하라는 행정명령을 발령했고,
이를 위반하면
최대 200만 원의 벌금형을 받을 수 있습니다.
