2. 752 cases of safety hazards reported on Jeju due to Typhoon Maysak
35 people received rescue assistance

More than 700 safety hazards were reported on Jeju due to the damage caused by this year’s No. 9 typhoon, Typhoon Maysak.

According to the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters, 752 cases have been reported and resolved from Wednesday to Thursday morning.

The cases include 112 accidents related to signboards, 99 calls about electricity facilities, 80 cases of broken trees, and 20 reports of flooded roads.

A total of 28 calls asking for rescue were submitted, resulting in 35 people who received assistance.
No casualties were reported.

태풍 '마이삭' 피해 속출…안전 조치 752건

제9호 태풍 마이삭이 제주를 빠져나가면서
크고 작은 피해가 집계되고 있습니다.

제주도소방안전본부에 따르면
태풍이 지나간 2일부터 3일 아침 6시까지
모두 7백여 건의 안전조치가 이뤄졌다고 밝혔습니다.

유형별로 보면
간판 안전조치가 112건으로 가장 많았고
전기시설 99건, 나무 부러짐 80여 건, 도로 침수 20여 건 등 입니다.

별다른 인명피해는 발생하지 않았지만
침수로 인한 고립 등 인명 구조 신고는 모두 28건이 접수돼
모두 35명이 구조됐습니다.
