Typhoon Haishen is the No. 9 storm system of the year with a central pressure of 955 hectopascals and a wind speed of 40 meters per second.

The storm is bringing very strong wind gusts with 30 to 100 millimeters of rain.

The typhoon has changed its route to the east, and is further from Jeju than expected.
