2. Jeju confirms 48th case of COVID-19
Patient tested positive while in self-quarantine

The province has confirmed its 48th case of COVID-19 on the island.

Jeju Island says the patient came into contact with patient No. 30, who is an employee of the Jeju International Free City Development Center, has been confirmed to be positive for COVID-19.

Patient No. 48 has been in self-quarantine since the 25th of last month, and was tested on the morning of the 4th after showing symptoms of COVID-19. The test taken at the Jeju Health Center confirmed the positive result.

The patient initially tested negative in the sample collection taken on the first day of self-quarantine on August 25th.

The province believes that there are no other direct contacts or movement points, as the patient has maintained strict regulations of self-isolation and was separated from the rest of the family in their home.

자가 격리를 유지해온 만큼
접촉자나 이동 동선이 없는 것으로 파악하고 있습니다.
