Province heightens preventive measures for avian influenza
Monitoring and surveying migratory bird habitats to be conducted

The provincial government will heighten preventive measures against the highly pathogenic avian influenza.

For this purpose, 15 migratory bird-watching areas will be selected. The areas of inspection will be used to conduct surveys on the status of migratory birds distribution, while also collecting dead birds by February next year.

In addition, the government will conduct inspections once a month on the status of quarantine management, such as disinfection procedures, at bird exhibition facilities and zoos.

내년 2월까지 철새도래지역 15개소를 선정해
예찰과 철새분포현황 조사,
폐사체 수거 또는 검사체계를 확대 실시합니다.

또 동물원 등 조류 전시시설에 대해서도
소독 등 방역관리 실태를
한달에 한차례 이상 주기적으로 점검합니다.
