Reports of larvae in Seogwipo tap water enters 2nd week
100 recorded cases since Oct. 18

There have been more than 100 reports of larvae found in tap water in Seogwipo City.

According to the provincial government, a total of 100 reports of larvae in tap water were received from October 18 to 31.

Among them, 69 of the cases have been confirmed, while 8 cases are currently under investigation.

Meanwhile, it has been two weeks since larvae was first detected in Seogwipo’s tap water, but the province has yet to find the source of contamination.

제주도에 따르면
10월 18일부터 31일까지
수돗물에서 유충이 발생했다는 신고는
모두 100건이 접수됐습니다.

이 가운데 실제 유충이 발생된 것은 69건이며
현재 8건에 대해서는 조사가 진행되고 있습니다.

한편, 수돗물 유충 사태가 빚어진지 2주가 됐지만
제주도는 아직까지 유충 유입 경로 등을 밝혀내지 못하고 있습니다.
