Arrival hall construction completes at Jeju Port
Separating arrivals and departures improves security

The arrival and departure halls of Jeju Port International Passenger Terminal will be operated separately.

The provincial government recently completed construction of the arrival hall at the terminal with a project cost of 2.2 billion won. The government plans to begin operations in November after undergoing test operations and security related procedures.

A new area entry hall has been created on the first floor of the duty-free building, and the existing entry and departure hall will be used exclusively for departures.

By completely separating the route of entry and departure, problems related to inconvenience of usage and security are expected to be resolved to some extent.

3. 제주항 국제여객터미널 입출국장 분리 운영

11월부터 제주항 국제여객터미널의 입출국장이 분리 운영됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 사업비 22억원을 투입해 최근
제주항 국제여객터미널 입국장 설치공사를 마무리하고
시험운영과
보안 관련 절차를 거쳐
11월부터 운영할 예정입니다.

면세점 건물 1층에 새로운 구역의 입국장이 조성됐으며
기존 입출국장은
출국장으로만 이용됩니다.

입출국 이동 경로를 완전히 분리하면서
이용객 불편과
보안상 문제가 어느정도 해소될 전망입니다.
