Revised Level 1 social distancing policies adopted
Private events, sports matches permitted under new plan

Jeju Island has been permitting private events and sports events to take place since the 7th.

The provincial government has decided to adopt the reformed version of the first tier of Jeju’s own social distancing guidelines to allow private-sponsored gatherings of more than 100 people to be held, on the premise that the event adheres to quarantine rules.

Multi-use facilities, which used to be classified into three levels of risk, are now divided into focused and general management facilities. 14 types of general facilities, such as PC rooms, wedding halls, and academies, can be used without any additional social distancing policies other than wearing masks.

However, parties with more than 10 people linked to guest houses are still prohibited, and 55 categories of businesses, including public transportation and entertainment facilities, will be fined starting from the 13th if masks are not worn.

민간이 주관하는 100인 이상 모임은
방역 수칙을 전제로
개최를 허용하기로 했습니다.

기존 3단계 위험 수준으로 분류하던 다중이용시설도
중점과 일반 관리 시설로 구분해
PC방이나 결혼식장, 학원 같은 14개 일반시설은
마스크를 착용하면 별도의 거리두기 없이 이용이 가능합니다.

다만, 게스트하우스와 연계한 10인 이상 파티는
여전히 금지되며
대중교통과 유흥시설을 포함한 55개 업종은
마스크를 착용하지 않을 경우 13일부터 과태료가 부과됩니다.
