PoE allows all students to return to school full-time
New plan will begin on the 12th

All students enrolled in schools on Jeju Island will be able to return to school full-time starting from the 12th.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education has announced a new academic management system based on the new plan.

Until now, only up to two-thirds of the student population from 32 schools were allowed to attend classes on-site. Those schools included elementary schools with more than 900 students, and middle schools with more than 700 students, as well as all general high schools in Jeju City.

The final decision to allow a fully normalized system is at the discretion of the principal of each school who will take into consideration the opinions of the school staff and student.

12일부터 제주도내 모든 학교에서
전교생이 등교가 가능해집니다.

제주도교육청은 이 같은 내용을 골자로 한
새로운 학사 운영 방안을 마련해 발표했습니다.

그동안 재학생이 9백명이 넘는 초등학교와
7백명이 넘는 중학교, 제주시 평준화 일반고 등 과대학교 32군데는
재학생의 3분의 2까지만 등교가 허용됐습니다.

전체 학생의 등교 여부는 학교구성원의 의견을 수렴해
학교장 재량에 맡겼습니다.
