Province in joint efforts to promote safe tourism for post-COVID era
JTO, ICC Jeju in discussions with government to develop tourism industry

The Jeju provincial government, along with the Jeju Tourism Organization, and ICC Jeju, held a joint debate at the Jeju Welcome Center on the 13th to come up with response strategies for tourism in Jeju during the post-COVID-19 era.

Participants agreed on the need to develop tourism to conform to the "untact" era by establishing a prevention-oriented safe tourism system and bringing existing festivals online.

Jeju Island also plans to promote fair-priced travel with the private sectors, as the government's issuance of travel discount coupons will increase fees associated with tourism.

비대면 시대에 부합하는 관광 콘텐츠 개발이
필요하다는 데 의견을 모았습니다.

한편 제주도는
정부의 여행 할인 쿠폰 발급으로
관광 특수에 따른 고액 요금 문제가 늘 것으로 보고
민간과 함께 공정한 가격의 착한 여행을 촉진한다는 계획입니다.
