Court to sentence two tourists who visited Jeju despite COVID-19 symptoms
Mother, daughter from Gangnam will be sentenced on Nov. 20

The results of the court's first trial against a mother and daughter from the Gangnam district of Seoul, who traveled to Jeju despite having COVID-19 symptoms, will be released on the 20th. Both were confirmed with the virus soon after the trip.

The Jeju District Court will make a final decision on the 20th in the first trial of the damage suit filed by Jeju Island.

However, there is a possibility that the date of the sentence may be delayed if the defendants appoint a lawyer and proceed with further defense.

The province filed a 130 million won compensation suit against the pair in March.
