Highly pathogenic AI antigen detected in Hado-ri, Jeju City
Measures to limit movement of 800,000 animals in effect

Antigens of highly pathogenic avian influenza were detected in a migratory bird sanctuary area in Hado-ri of Jeju City.

Jeju Island announced on the 17th that an AI antigen was detected in wild bird feces collected from migratory birds in the Hado-ri area.

The results of the pathogenicity test of the detected antigen was found to be H5N8-type highly pathogenic antigens.

The province has restricted access to the site where feces were collected and have imposed movement restrictions on 800,000 animals in 27 poultry farms that are located within a 10 kilometer radius of the site.

하도리 철새도래지에서 채취한 야생 조류 분변에서
H5형 AI 항원이 검출됐다고 밝혔습니다.

검출된 항원이 고병원성인지 여부는
25일 경 판정될 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.

제주도는 분변을 채취한 지점에 출입을 통제하고
반경 10km 안에 있는 가금농장 27곳,
약 80만 마리에 대한 이동 제한 조치를 내렸습니다.
