Restrictions on chartered buses extended by two years
Province bans increase of buses until November 2022

The ban on new registrations and the increase of chartered buses in Jeju will be extended for two years.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport held a committee meeting to control the supply of chartered buses and has decided to extend the restriction period to November 2022.

As a result, the province will be restricting newly registered buses and will maintain the ban on increasing the number of buses until 2022.

Currently, 1,830 chartered buses operate in Jeju, which is 230 more than the appropriate amount.

국토교통부는
전세버스 수급조절위원회를 열고
전세버스 총량을 제한하는 수급 조절 기간을
2022년 11월까지 2년 연장하기로 했습니다.

이에 따라 제주도는
2022년까지 전세버스 신규 등록이나 증차가 제한됩니다.

현재 제주에서 운행되는 전세버스는 1천 830대로
적정 대수보다
230여 대가 많은 실정입니다.
