2021 budget for 2nd airport finalize at ₩47.3B
Includes basic and working designs

The Jeju 2nd Airport Construction Project, which was included as a part of next year's government budget, has been alloted 47.3 billion won.

According to the province and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the budget for the second airport project was passed at the National Assembly.

The basic survey design cost was set at 30 billion won, working design cost at 13 billion won, and supervision cost at 4.31 billion won.

The ministry has said that they plan to create a basic plan after a strategic environmental impact assessment is conducted within this year.

내년도 정부 예산안에 편성됐던
제주 제2공항 건설사업 473억 원이 확정됐습니다.

제주도와 국토교통부에 따르면,
국회를 통과한 국토교통부 소관 예산에
제2공항 사업 예산은 473억 원이 반영됐습니다.

기본조사설계비 300억 원,
실시설계비 130억 원,
감리비 43억 1천만 원 등으로 편성됐습니다.

국토부는 올해 안에 전략환경영향평가를 거쳐
기본계획을 고시하고
내년에는 기본 실시설계 용역에 들어가는 데 필요한
예산을 담았다고 설명했습니다.
