187 cases reported this year

Illegal lodging businesses remain operational despite a crackdown by the province.

The Jeju Municipal Police has detected 187 illegal lodging businesses so far this year.

16 of these cases have remained operational despite having been caught and reported within the last two years.

The police agency is planning to impose criminal penalties for repeated offenses and will issue an order of closure of the business site.

특히 이 가운데 16건은
최근 2년간 이미 적발됐음에도
여전히 불법으로 영업하다 적발된 곳입니다.

제주자치경찰단은 반복되는 재범 행위에 대해
형사적 가중처벌과 함께
행정처분인 영업장 폐쇄명령을 병행한다는 방침입니다.
