Another confirmed case from contact with Jinju City village leaders

COVID-19 patients have been confirmed in Jeju continuously.

The provincial office said that the 90th patient who is a Jeju resident tested positive yesterday and had symptoms of a headache and fever.

The patient was moved to a negative pressure room in Jeju National University Hospital and the province is investigating the travel routes and undergoing contact tracing.

The 91st patient who is a contact with patient no. 76, was also confirmed. The patient was undergoing self-quarantine from November 26th.

Patient no. 91 was a contact of village leaders from Jinju City and worked in a massage shop. The patient tested negative on the initial test, but tested positive on a follow-up test before being released from quarantine.

A 92nd patient, who is a family member of patient no. 91, has also tested positive for COVID-19.

제주도는 어제(8일) 오후 제주도민 A씨가
두통과 열감 증상을 보여 검체를 채취해 검사한 결과
제주에서 90번째로
코로나 확진판정을 받았다고 밝혔습니다.

보건당국은 A씨를
제주대학교 음압병상으로 이송해 격리 치료를 진행하는 한편,
A씨의 타지역 방문 여부와
도내 세부 동선, 접촉자 등
역학조사를 진행하고 있습니다.

이와함께
제주 76번 확진자의 접촉자로
지난 달 26일부터 자가격리 된 B씨도
확진 판정을 받아 제주지역 91번 확진자로 분류됐습니다.

91번 확진자 B씨는
제주 76번 확진자인 진주 이통장단이 방문한
마사지샵 직원과 같은 업종 종사자로
자가격리 전에는 음성 판정을 받았지만
격리 해제를 앞두고 재검사를 진행한 결과 최종 확진 판정을 받았습니다.
