Additional daily COVID-19 cases recorded
Patients include student, travelling group

Additional COVID-19 patients have been recorded in Jeju.

Patient nos. 111 and 112 are a parent and student of an international school. They came into contact with patient no. 109 on the 12th.

patient nos. 114, 115 and 116 are a group of people who travelled to Jeju with patient no. 107.

They tested negative on their initial tests, but after showing suspicious symptoms during self-quarantine, they were re-tested and confirmed to be positive.

Patient nos. 117 and 118 are contacts of patient no. 108.

Patient no. 108 played badminton at an indoor gymnasium in Jeju City at the same time as a group of patients from Siheung-si, Gyeonggi-do Province.

40 other people who were in the gym were confirmed to be negative.


밤사이 제주에서 코로나19 확진자 3명이 추가돼
어제 하루 8명의 확진자가 추가로 발생했습니다.

국제학교 학부모와 학생인 111번, 112번 확진자는
그제(12일) 제주 109번 확진자의 접촉자로 통보받고 검사를 받은 결과
양성판정이 나온 것으로 전해졌습니다.

114, 115, 116번 확진자는 모두 제주 107번 확진자와 함께
제주로 여행왔던 일행입니다.

이들은 첫 검사에서는 음성 판정을 받았지만,
격리를 진행하던 중 코로나19 의심 증상을 보여 재검사한 결과
확진됐습니다.

117번, 118번 확진자는
제주 108번 확진자의 접촉자인 것으로 확인됐습니다.

제주 108번 확진자는 경기도 시흥시 확진자 일행과 접촉자로
지난 5일 제주시내 한 체육관에서 같은 시간대 배드민턴 운동을
한 것으로 전해졌습니다.

배드민턴장에서 접촉이 이뤄진 나머지 40명에 대해서는
음성 판정이 나왔습니다.
