Province conducts house searches on 4 tax dodgers
￦15M in cash confiscated

The provincial government recently conducted home searches of four people who owed more than 10 million won in taxes.

The individuals had failed to pay a combined total of 381 million won in local taxes despite their substantial income. In order to avoid paying taxes, they registered houses or luxury foreign cars in the names of their spouses who had no income.

The province seized 15 million won in cash, 1 million worth of foreign currency and 4 items made of precious metals during the search.

소득이 없는 배우자 명의로
주택이나
고급 외제차를 등록했거나
사업체를 운영하며 체납처분을 피해간 사례입니다.

제주도는 가택수색 과정에서
현금 1천 500여만원을 압수했으며
100만원 상당의 외화와 귀금속 4점을 압류했다고 설명했습니다.
