Free COVID-19 testing for residents of Jeju Island
Province plans for mandatory inspection of all travelers

As the social distancing level is upgraded to level 2 on Jeju Island, anyone in the province will be able to receive testing for COVID-19 free of charge regardless of whether they have symptoms or not.

The provincial government said that with state funding for level 2, COVID-19 diagnostic tests will be available for residents regardless of their connection to confirmed patients or whether they have related symptoms.

The province is planning for residents who have returned from visiting the mainland to take mandatory tests at the airport and health centers in the province within three days of arrival, or while in proactive self-isolation for 14 days.

The local government will also discuss plans with the central government to enforce mandatory certificates of negative test results for all visitors traveling to Jeju Island.

다른지역을 방문했다가 돌아온 도민에 대해서는
공항 워크스루나 도내 보건소 등에서
3일 이내에 검사받거나
최장 14일 동안 능동적 자가격리하면서
검사받도록 할 방침입니다.

또 제주를 찾는 다른지역 주민의 경우는
현지에서 검사를 받고
음성으로 확인된 증명서 첨부를 의무화하는 방안을 정부와 협의하기로 했습니다.
