Governor announces new plans for controversial facility

Jeju Healthcare Town, which has been delayed due to legal disputes, will be reconstructed as a public health care complex.

Governor Won Hee-ryong said on the 15th that the Healthcare Town will be made into a medical complex that combines education, training, research and development functions in the public health sector as the 5th action to implement the Songak Declaration.

The governor stressed that he will form an advisory body involving the government, the JDC and Greenland Group to establish detailed plans and actively support the operations of related projects.

The province is also considering various ways to utilize the Greenland Hospital, which is currently in litigation, including the purchase of the hospital, and will consult with local residents to come up with win-win measures.

병원 매입을 포함한 다양한 활용 방안을 검토하고 있으며
지역 주민과 협의해 상생 대책을 마련하겠다고 말했습니다.
