Jeju Island launches level 2 social distancing
Restrictions placed on restaurants, cafes

With the spread of COVID-19 infections on Jeju Island, the social distancing level has been raised to level 2 as of (today) December 18th.

Governor Won Hee-ryong held a press conference at the provincial government office on the morning of the 17th and announced that Jeju’s social distancing will be upgraded to level 2 as of midnight on the 18th and remain in effect until January 3rd next year.

As a result, dining in will be prohibited at restaurants and cafes from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, with only takeout and delivery allowed during these hours.

Singing rooms must be closed after 9 p.m., and entertainment facilities, such as hostess bars, will be completely suspended.

The number of attendees at weddings and funerals will also be limited to 100 people.

Guidelines also state that religious organizations must hold non-face-to-face meetings. However, if meetings must be held in person, the number of people in attendance must be capped at 20% capacity.

이에따라
모든 식당과 카페는
오후 9시부터 다음날 오전 5시까지
매장 내 음식물 섭취가 금지되고 포장과 배달만 허용됩니다.

노래연습장도 밤 9시부터 운영할 수 없으며
룸살롱 등 유흥시설은 운영이 전면 중단됩니다.

결혼식장과 장례식장에는
100명 미만으로 인원을 제한하고,

종교시설은 비대면 개최가 원칙이며
부득이하게 대면으로 진행할 경우
좌석수 20% 이내로 제한해야 합니다.
