Province urges residents to sign national petition for new delivery fee system
Petition must have at least 200,000 signatures

Jeju Island has asked for residents to actively participate in the national petition to improve the delivery fee system for island regions.

The province has been conducting a national petition with the Jeju Green Consumer Network to urge the improvement of the special delivery fee system for parcel delivery since the 27th of last month. So far, they have only gathered 6% of the target number.

They explained that at least 200,000 people must sign the petition in order to receive the government's response, and urged for active participation by residents.

To participate in the national petition, residents can search for keywords such as 'Jeju parcel delivery' and 'special shipping costs' on the websites of the Blue House, the National Assembly, or the Jeju provincial office.
