Mandatory virtual learning for all kindergartens and schools in Jeju
PoE designates period for online classes to end Dec. 24

Starting this week, all kindergartens and schools in the province will convert to virtual learning.

The Jeju Provincial Office of Education has designated the period for virtual learning to end on the 24th, and will consider an extension according to the degree of COVID-19 infections on the island.

However, final exams, which will occur during this period, will be conducted in-person as planned by adhering to the guidelines of capping the number at 30% capacity.

In addition, emergency care will be provided for first, second, and third graders, with the number of students per class limited to 15.



2. 유치원·학교 원격수업 전환

이번주부터 도내 모든 유치원과 학교가
전면 원격 수업으로 전환됩니다.

제주도교육청은 일단 오는 24일까지 원격수업을 진행한 후
감염 정도를 고려해 연장 여부를 결정할 계획입니다.

단 예정된 기말고사는 원격 수업 기간에도
3분의 1 밀집도를 지키는 범위에서 진행합니다.

또 유치원과 초등학교 1, 2, 3학년을 대상으로
긴급 돌봄을 실시하되 학급당 15명 내외로 운영하도록 했습니다.
