Police to conduct special public security exercises
Intensive crackdowns on DUIs, quarantine violations

The Jeju Provincial Police will conduct special public security exercises during the year-end holidays.

The police agency will increase patrols in crime-prone areas for two weeks from the 21st to the 3rd of next month and will also conduct intensive crackdowns on drunk driving.
The crackdowns will target areas and times with high occurrences of DUIs.

All passengers in the violator’s vehicle will also be investigated for aiding and abetting the drunk driving violation.

In addition, the police will crack down on violations of quarantine rules, such as obstructing the execution of public affairs by quarantine authorities.



5. 경찰, 연말연시 특별 치안 활동 실시

연말연시를 맞아 경찰이
특별 치안 활동을 실시합니다.

제주지방경찰청은
21일부터 다음달 3일까지 2주 동안
범죄 취약지역 순찰을 강화하고
음주운전 집중 단속을 진행합니다.

특히 음주사고 다발 지역과 시간대를 중심으로
집중 단속을 벌이고
음주운전 차량이 적발되면
동승자에 대한 교사와 방조 여부에 대해서도 수사할 계획입니다.

경찰은 또 방역당국의 공무집행 방해 등
방역수칙위반 등도 집중 단속할 방침입니다.
