5 COVID patients confirmed on the 28th

Five COVID-19 patients have been confirmed in Jeju on the 28th.

The province reported the total number of COVID-19 patients in Jeju at 397 as of midnight last night after confirming five new patients on the 28th.

No patients have been confirmed from midnight to 11 a.m. today.

Meanwhile, a screening center has been in operation since the 25th at the Gimpo International Airport.

The province said that they cannot require visitors to submit their test results by law. Instead, they are encouraging travellers to receive coronavirus tests as a part of a campaign to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

김포공항 내 선별검사소가 운영을 시작했습니다.

제주도는 김포국제공항 국내선 1층 주차장에서
지난 25일부터 임시선별검사소가
운영되고 있다고 밝혔습니다.

입도객들이 코로나 음성을 확인받는 것에 대해
법 또는 제도적으로 강제할 수 없지만
제주도는 범국민적인 의식 전환 운동 차원에서
검사를 독려하는 것이라고 설명했습니다.
