Jeju’s tourism industry reports ￦7.4T gross profit in 2019
Retail industry accounts for more than 50%

In 2019, Jeju Island’s tourism industry’s gross profit amounted to 7.47 trillion won.
This was an increase of 9.8% from the previous year.

The income from Korean nationals who moved to the island in 2019 increased by 3% while profit from foreigners increased by 21%.

The retail industry accounted for more than 50 percent of profits, with restaurants and accommodations coming in at a distance, at 14% and 12%, respectively.

Jeju’s tourism industry reported a 4.7 trillion won gross profit in 2015 and has been on a steady rise until last year.

지난해 제주관광 조수입이 7조 4천670억 원에 달하는 것으로 나타났습니다.

제주도에 따르면
2019년 제주관광 조수입 잠정치는 7조 4670억원으로
전년대비 9.8% 증가했습니다.

내국인은 전년 대비 3%, 외국인은 21%가 증가했고,
소매업이 50% 이상, 음식점과 숙박업이 각각 14%, 12%의
비율을 차지한 것으로 집계됐습니다.

제주관광 조수입은 지난 2015년 4조 7천억 원에서 시작해
지난해까지 완만한 증가세를 보였습니다.
