Jeju Island reports 237 cases of social distancing violations
Level 2 in effect until Jan. 17

Jeju Island has reported a total of 237 cases of social distancing violations that were made between December 24th and January 3rd.

The province issued correction orders to 228 of the cases.

Six cases that violated the no gather order in entertainment facilities have been sent to prosecution, and fines were imposed on three cases that included a violation of quarantine measures in restaurants and not wearing a mask on public transportation.

Jeju Island has implemented social distancing level two from December 18th, which will remain in effect until January 17th.

지난달 24일부터 지난 3일까지 진행된
제주형 사회적 거리두기 기간 내에
모두 237건의 방역수칙 위반 사례가 적발됐습니다.

제주도는 이 가운데
228건에 대해서는 1차 시정명령을 내렸습니다.

나머지 9건 가운데
유흥시설 집합금지 위반 6건에 대해서는 고발조치 하고
식당.카페 방역수칙 위반 2건, 대중교통 마스크 미착용 1건은
과태료가 부과됐습니다.

제주도는 지난 18일부터 적용된
제주형 사회적 거리두기 2단계 플러스 알파를
2주간 연장해 오는 17일 24시까지 실시할 예정입니다.
